What is a profile?
Your DateClub profile is a set of questions which give other speed daters an indication of some of your physical characteristics and personality. You can also upload a photograph of yourself if you wish.
How does a profile work?
You will be asked to set up a profile when booking your first event. However, you do not have to do this immediately, as you can add or amend your profile at any time. After you have attended a DateClub event, you will be able to view the profiles of the other participants, and they will be able to view yours. This can help to refresh your memory about the people you met, before deciding who to tick. It may also increase your chances of receiving ticks.
Is it worth doing a profile?
Yes, definitely, as long as the information that you enter is accurate and coherent. All of the questions are optional – you can leave blank any which you prefer not to answer.
Do I have to set up a profile?
No, you do not. We recommend that you do, as it can help to increase the number of ticks and matches that you get.
