How do I enter my ticks?

An event will be 'open' from 11am on the following day. Log onto the Members’ area and click on the ‘My Events & Ticks’ button. Click on ‘add or view ticks’ against the event that you wish to enter your ticks for and you will see a list of all the attendees along with their profile details (if they have created one). You may wish to browse through any profiles before entering your ticks. Tick the box next to anyone that you may like to see again (you can tick up to 7 people from any one event), and click on the ‘submit ticks’ button. You have up to 1 week to enter your ticks after an event. After this time the event will be closed.

Can I change my ticks after submitting them?

No. You have one opportunity to enter your ticks, so make sure they are correct before clicking on the ‘submit ticks’ button.

What are ‘matches’?

A ‘match’ is when you have ticked a person and they have also ticked you. This means that you have both indicated that you may like to see each other again.

How do I check if I have any matches?

Make sure that you are logged onto the Members area and then click on the ‘My Matches’ button. Click on ‘view matches’ against the event that you want to see the results for, and you will see details of any matches that you have. If you have any matches, you will see the person’s badge number, first name, profile and their email address. The other person will also have received your details. It is then up to you whether or not you contact that person.

I am sure that ‘X’ ticked me, but I don’t seem to have a match with them

Some people take some time to enter their ticks, so check again later. Also, be aware that some people change their mind about who they are going to tick after an event.

Can I check the total number of ticks that I received?

Yes. Click on the ‘view my yes ticks’ button below the details of your matches.

How many ticks and matches do people normally get?

This is impossible to say as the number can vary greatly. DateClub cannot guarantee that you will receive any ticks or matches from their events.
