Data protection / data privacy

To promote confidence in using the Internet, we at Dating Club Spain S.L (‘DateClub’) are happy to explain what happens to any information you divulge to us. The following tells you what kind of information is collected, and how we use that information.

Information on Data Protection

DateClub respects and understands the importance of your privacy. All personal data received by DateClub will be treated confidentially, in accordance with the stringent provisions of the Spanish Law on Protection of Personal Data. Clients’ individual user data is used to improve DateClub’s web-related services and for maintaining contact with and to provide services to clients.

You can access most pages on our DateClub website without divulging any information about yourself. In those cases where your name, address and other particulars are required, the website will advise you of this in advance. By participating in a DateClub event, you are giving us permission to forward your first name and email address only to those participants with whom you have ‘matched’. To ‘match’ is when both participants indicate on the website that they would like to be in contact with each other after an event. DateClub will not forward any of your personal details to any other person at an event without your prior permission.

Providing Personal Data to Third Parties

DateClub will never sell, share, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third parties without your express permission or unless required to do so by law or order of a court.

Security

DateClub stores your data on a specially protected server in the United Kingdom. Access is restricted to authorised persons only, who are empowered by DateClub to administer the technical, commercial and content-related aspects of the server.
